Hey all. I've been looking into how to do this since I first got my laptop about a year ago and had found a couple of places (and a user) in Europe that would be able to supply the module and cable but when my mainboard died on me recently, I found a place in North America that sells refurbished and used Acer parts (as well as a few other brands). While poking around on their site, it turned out they also have the BT parts I needed so I thought I'd lump that in with my mainboard order.
To be honest, I don't even have any BT devices to try it out with so I'm not sure if it even works but it's pretty exciting to see the enable button light up blue! (Stupid and frivolous of me?? probably....)
BTW I'm not here to plug their business or anything so hopefully this isn't inappropriate of me but so far their service has been excellent especially considering that the mainboard and BT gear were purchased completely sight-unseen from a company I'd never heard of - notebooksolutions.ca .
Also on their site, it looks like there may be some heatsink/fan combos that may help cure the nasty noise that the 5002s (and I'm sure other 5000 series models) make. I'm tempted to keep my old mainboard to see what solutions can be made to fit
