    Installed XP on Aspire 5101 after HD failure what Acer Utilities do I need to Install

    I have just installed a clean install XP on my Aspire 5101 after a Hard Drive failure as I didn't have the recovery disks. I have installed the various drivers etc & the laptop works fine. What Acer Utilities do I need to Install (if any) for just normal usage. I had thought about the Power Management but the rest seen to be not realy needed. Any help / comments please

    the only thing you might wanna consider would be

    LAUNCH MANAGER

    assuming your acer had that program... it's responsible for the on screen display of the media buttons (vol +-, WIFI, BT) but it's not needed just kinda handy at times...
    i would not install any other ACER BS... all that bloatware will do is slow down the laptop

    I switched to Linux 3 days ago and I don't have to install ANY of the ACER stuff..Ubuntu 8.04 has it's own launch manager :D

    What's up BigO can't sleep?
