    Installing DirectX on Aspire 5920

    Has anyone had any success installing the latest DirectX updates?

    I've been having trouble with games that I would attribute to Directx 9 runtimes not being avaliable. Thus I tried downloading the latest version of DirectX in order for it to update earlier versions my notebook might be missing.

    Problem is, whilst it starts, it recognises updates and tries to install them, however the process is then terminated, with a message that the setup components cannot be downloaded. The DirectX installer window then closes.

    Help please.

    I Got the Same Problem.I use DirectX Redistributable(June) instead.It works for me well :D
