My 5920 doesnt have Intel turbo memory software installed.. does it mean that my laptop doesn't support intel turbo memory? I heard that all 5920 support this... should I download the installer from intel website?

Intel turbo memory is ram on an extra cost seperate board... If you don't have it installed, no need for the drivers. In theory any 5920G (except the Best Buy model) should have the required 2nd PCI-E Mini connector for it to be added. Just take the bottom cover off, and make sure you have the 2nd socket (identical to the wireless card) for it. I have no idea why they left this connector off of the PC board on the Best Buy 1.5ghz models... But seems that all others have it.

Do a forum search for more info, as this has already been discussed.

My 5920 does not have it either.
In the Uk you get Turbo memory or bluetooth .. not both.

I went for the bluetooth on purpose because you can add turbomemory later, bluetooth is a lot more difficult (inbuilt)

Just updated my bios .. was a bit scary seeing as I havent had the laptop 24 hours yet :0)

So does mine .. I can fit it at a later stage if I want to go and buy some but it is not installed in the slot as standard if you have inbuilt bluetooth.

You get one or the other when you buy the laptop (in the UK).. not both

hey mike... you wouldn't happen to have a photo of where the bluetooth module goes.... along with a part number and the amount of pins that the socket for the bluetooth accepts (8-pin,10-pin, etc).
