    Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect the Acer Aspire 5742-7342 with the i5-460M processor to a TV using the Intel Wireless Display technology?

It has the HDMI out, but I want to go wireless as my TV does not have the HDMI. Perhaps another option is to convert the HDMI output to a Component Input as the TV has that on the back.

Thanks for any answers and advice!

    Cheers,

    BB.

Well for Intel Wireless Display you need an adapter box at your TV, which is sold separatley or something. Basically your laptop is the transmitter and you need the receiver. I don't know where you can buy such a thing tho.
