Is not necessary to have 128MB to play games. It's just that maybe in one year you will find some games running slow because of the big texture. But for a couple of year you'll be able to play many games.
As far as I know you can NOT upgrade the ram of a notebook's vga card.

I suggest you to spend some bucks more and take the Acer Aspire 1692WLMi that has a Pentium-M 1.73Ghz, a bigger hd (80GB) and an ATI X600 with 128MB VGA. It's really worth the price [8D]

If you live in Thailand, I would suggest that you wait for the new Acer Aspire 1691 WLMi that comes with the ATI Radeon x700 128 MB. We are starting to get small numbers of the model appearing in Malaysia too. I have also heard the similar models are available in Australia and other Asia-Pacific countries. Maybe you can call your local Acer distributor to check them out.

    Good luck!

I don't know when the Acer Aspire 1691 with ATI Radeion x700 128MB will be released in Thailand. It may not be released in Thailand at all, there's a possibility. So call your local Acer distributor to check them out.

    Good luck!
