I'm running with adminstrator privilages, but when I try and start NHC it spits up a dialog saying it can only run in an admin account and closes out.

You probably need to right click and hit 'run as administrator'. You may have admin rights, but Vista by default does not give the programs you start admin rights.

NHC isn't compatible with Windows Vista yet. An updated version of NHC is in the works, but a release date is unknown, with the author citing the poor documentation of Vista power management components as the cause of the delay.

Use RMClock for the time being.

Have any of the competing programs developed a vista version yet?
