    Hello everyone.

I have had my Acer 6930g for about 2,5 years and it is still a decent computer. However, I've noticed a little bit of screen flickering (not much, and only in games) from time to time. It only lasts for 5-10 seconds, and then it will dissapear and come back in 1-3 weeks. It doesn't bother me at all, but I thought it could be a sign of the death of the GPU?

Side note: It isn't the LCD-cable; I can't provoke it by moving the screen.

    What do you think?

    Kind Regards
    Peter

Definitely sounds like the GPU. Have you tried installing the latest drivers for it and seeing if that resolves the issue? It could also be from heat try cleaning the fans as well.
