Hi, guys I just want to know whether the new intel ssd value drives and mainstream drives compatible with my acer aspire 5520G. my laptop has a 250 gb 5400 rpm 2.5 inch I think.
Coz the new ssd drives says sata II, and I am not sure if my acer aspire 5520G has sata II.
And is it a better upgrade than buying a tl-66 (2.3 ghz

Yes it's compatible. Sata II and Sata I are compatible.
The Intel SSD is roughly 3 times as fast as a HDD. -

Just use CPU-Z to check the chipset and Google to see what is supported. I'd wager it's SATA/300. Either way, it doesn't make much difference.

As far as I know, 5520G`s chipset is based on nvidia nforce 500-series, which has SATA 3Gb/s (aka SATA II/300) controller.
