    Is this overclock to much?

    i dont want to burn my laptop out so are these settings to much?
    original settings are
    AMD Athlon 64x2 duel core running @ 1.8 GHz
    new settings are below.
    i used ntune to overclock did a stability test and it passed all 34 tests without any hangups, so any info/help will do as i'm new ot overclocking.

    As long as the processor is cool and the computer is stable then it is okay. I had a 400MHz OC on my AMD TL-50 (250*8) from 1.6-2.0GHz and it ran fine. Use ORTHOS to stress the CPU and see if it passes for at least 12 hours. If it doesn't then lower your overclock.

    cheers for the info m8, i have reduced the O/C by 200 MHz cos with that test my lappy only lasted 23 seconds b4 it hung lol

    After a few tweaks of the memory settings i now have it running stable at the max it will clock i think :D
    i ran ORTHOS for over 2 hours without any stability problems.
