I'll keep it short and sweet.
    Burn restore disks
Use XP copy and install (one without all the branded acer crap).
not like it, use restore disks to bring back to the way it was when I bought it?

I did not get what you mean but you can install a fresh xp, then get a backup with norton ghost or acronis true image and burn it into a dvd. If your system crashes, you will be back in business just in 20 minutes (depending on your image size of course)

Not really what I was asking. What I was asking was:
    can I do this?

1 - Burn Acer factory disks
2 - Take a XP Pro disk I own and format install drive with
3 - Use the Acer disks to bring back to Windows MCE with all the default programs.

Why would you need to do #2?

    #1 & #3 is all you need.

The Acer factory disks reformats the C: Partition anyway. I don't think there is any stopping that.

Because I want to try my laptop at its full potential speed. Without all the acer stuff and preloaded stuff. Its just a copy of XP Pro SP1.

Although if its easier to understand like this?

1 - Burn Acer factory disks
2 - Take a Linux Distro disk I own and format install drive with
3 - Use the Acer disks to bring back to Windows MCE with all the default programs.

If you want to see the potential of your laptop without all the acer stuff preloaded just do what I do every time I reload windows, just uninstall all of the acer stuff immediately and there you go. The only programs that acer installs that will even remotely slow down your laptop is the empowering framework suite of programs(elock, epowermanagement etc) which can be easily put under control or even fully removed. Therefore there is no need to go to the lengths here that you are suggesting...

I am really thinking what I said about in the last post, I want to install Linux and try it anyway, so just go based off what I said.

1 - Burn Acer factory disks
2 - Take a Linux Distro disk I own and format install drive with
3 - Use the Acer disks to bring back to Windows MCE with all the default programs.

Yes, you can boot off the Acer Backup disks to restore your system to its factory default setting (hope I read the question right).

Yes. The disk won't 'expire' or anything (unless it is physically damaged...).
