My issue is: Games don't work as they suppose to.

    My Notebook:

    Acer Aspire 5720G
    T7100 (1.8 Ghz)
    3 GB Ram
8600M GT (upgraded from 8400M GS) Driver: 174,93
Seller says DDR2 version but PC Wizard says DDR3 version. I don't know what to believe.

But my issue now: When I play games, CoD4. RSVegas, RSvegas 2 they all get a black screen duuring play or the fps going down ( I think because the screens goes slow).

So any one have a idea to fix this?

    Thx a lot!

Is to check weather your gpu is ddr2 or gddr3 but i believe its a ddr2 as that's what all Acer offer except if they add new one.

As for your 2nd problem... could you be more specific? Is the screen suddenly gone black... hang and come back up?

    Yes it's DDR2.

Yes, in CoD4 it hang and turn slowly black. When I move the mouse I got the screen back again but only for 0,5 sec. In Vegas the screen hang and then goes everything slowly. So the game doesn't function so smooth as before.

Disable screensaver, windows indexing, anti virus and try again, anything changed?
