    Issue with Acer Aspire 8730

    So I am having an issue with my backlight (I believe). The thing is, it kicks in for a few seconds during booting up and I can hit the Fn/F6 combo to light it up for a few seconds.

    Anyone have any idea what my problem might be?

    Backlight, you mean your LCD? Backlit keyboard or what?

    My LCD screen works fine except that the backlight for the screen does not seem to be working correctly.
