    Hello,

So, I'm having issues with stand by and my touch pad on my Aspire 9410.

These problems occurred this morning, after I found that my laptop wasn't waking up from stand by. I could hear it running, but the screen stayed dark. So I had to hold down the power button to turn it off and then turned it back on.

Touch pad: I can move the cursor just fine, but I can't click anything anymore. And I also notice that when I use the slide function, the cursor stays the normal mouse icon and not the up and down arrow icon.

Afterwards, I tried putting my laptop on stand by and just as soon as the screen went dark, and the battery Icon went orange....it came back on a second later. It refuses to go into stand by.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks.
