Was playing games when the colour all of a sudden went a blue tint. I believe it is blacks that have turned blue. There are also vertical lines going down the screen inbetween the pixels.
I have tried using an external monitor via VGA and HDMI and the colour is normal.

Is this my actual screen, or is it the ribbon cable?

    Cheers.

Could the graphics chip have overheated ? (with you gaming and all)

Is the problem there in safe mode or just entering the BIOS screen ? when Windows uses just a generic driver.

Maybe try reinstalling the graphics driver.

It's not a driver issue, as it's there on POST
