    Hi,

So after getting this last night and going thru the startup procedure and connecting to the internet, (I wanted to see if my router would work). I am burning the System Recovery DVD right now. Could someone please direct me to a current link on what I should do afterwards to improve performance. I'm not sure what I should remove other than Norton.

    Thanks.

Cmon Acer Bro's, All I'm asking for is a good link. Although If you want to give personal experience advise, that would be most welcome.

Btw, my windows experience score was 3.2, isnt that pretty low?

Acer normally puts alot of bloatware and useless programs that most users will never use. Remove any programs that you're not going to use, as they'll start up when the notebook does, or they will just waste space on the hard disk. Also, stop any programs from starting up. You should be able to do with from within the program itself. If not, then you can do it by typing "msconfig" into "Run", and changing the startup programs on the "Startup" tab. However, be careful, as most programs in there have shortedned names, so just be sure of what your stopping from starting up.
