well i have an Aspire 5000 and the left directional key popped out and wont go back in :(

How would i go about putting the key back on the keyboard when the key retainer is still attached to the key itself and not the board?

if it isnt possible how would i go about opening up the laptop to replace the entire keyboard?

replace they keyboard is not too bad they pretty cheap last time i order one

turn so you see back notebook shound be 3 screw along back undo them

turn notebook flip open screen put down lifted trim above the keyboard you can cafefull use screw drive to pop it up and out remove screw above the keyboard they shound be 3 or 4 left keyboard carefully flip over lay down slide clip at bot side of the ribbon cable out slide cable out

do so at you only risk is easy but if not carefull you cound break the ribon connector
