It seems like alot when I type I hit some button on the keyboard and it moves my cursor back. Anyone know what I may be doing?

The keyboard has nothing to do with the moving of the cursor. So I think it might not be the keyboard, but rather your hand scraping the touchpad while you type which moves the cursor. Try disabling the touchpad when you type and see if this problem is cured or if it still remains.

There is an option (or at least, there was on my Acer) to disable the touchpad when an external pointing device is plugged in. In the touchpad icon, which is located in the system tray, you should be able to do that, or, if not, then in the Control Panel, under "Mouse".

    Cheers,

Depends on the model. Generally there should be a keyboard shortcut, try using the Fn + one of the function keys(F1-F12).
