I have a problem when I wear headphones or even with the regular notebook speakers on 8204 and when i type anything, any keystroke on the keyboard gives a buzz noise for the period of key-press.
Please advise how do i get rid of this annoying static noise problem![]()

I have the same problem - tech support was able to say nothing about it.
It's some kind of interference though, and my solutions have been to have a loud background music, or to use the digital optical output.
EDIT: In case someone is intrested - I can hear the sound from both built-in speakers when the volume is turned up. When using an external output device, like headphones, the sound is only hearable in the right speaker of the device. These more sensitive devices, like my Sennheiser 600HD headphones, play back the sound in a noticable way at all volumes, excluding mute. The volume of the sound is tied to the volume of the output signal (if I turn the volume up in my OS, the buzz's volume also goes up). -
I fixed the problem using the following simple way:
double click the volume icon on the bottom right bar. Mute the "Line Volume" and it worked. Dont need to mute master volume.
I dont know what line volume is used for but doesn't effect my gaming volume at all.
so let me know if that works for youits a big relief

yeah, same thing here. Line In volume was the culprit, whatever that is

Great! Thanks.
Line volume is the playback of the Line in -input, if I recall correctly, just like the Mic volume is the real time playback volume of microphone input.
