Hi, It seems someone try to log in my ACER ASPIRE 5920G when I was not around because I saw the XP log in the right password error message.
I logged in and the keys on the left side of the keyboard: numbers 1, 2, F1, F2, letters q, w, a, s, z, x the shift on the left, tab, caps, esc button also, all these keys are not working.
If anyone has encounter this problem before I would appreciate any advice, is not a num lock or F7 problem because already checked.
I also checked the drivers on the control panel and they are working fine so is not a software problem.
When I used the virtual keyboard they work on the virtual keyboard.
    Thank you in advanced.

sounds like you need to check the ribbon cable that plugs into the motherboard.

either the cable has wiggled slightly out of the connector.... or the keyboard has developed a problem..

either way requires removal of keyboard....
