    Keyboard, touchpad and USB don't work

    Hi!
    I have some problem with my laptop. Hope someone here can help me. I've got an Acer Aspire 5101 and 2 nights ago i was using it and all was well. Now the USB ports, the keyboard and Mouse stops working, cannot even get into BIOS by pressing F2. External Mouse and Keyboard doesn't work either. I'm trying to turn the power on without inserting the battery, but still dont't work. Oh god!!! :( I can't do anything with the laptop.
    When i get to the windows log-in screen, sometimes the FN + F6 combination works but that's all.
    I hope someone has a solution for this. The laptop is only a few months out of warranty, and it worked fine until now....
    Please help me with some information...Really hope I can repair it cheaply as it is the only pc I have!!I don't have money for a new motherboard :(((

    Welcome to NBR.

    Try the following:
    1. Unplug the power cord from the wall, then remove the battery.
    2. Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds.
    3. Then put the battery back and plug the power cord.

    4. Please report back.
