    LCD Display Questions

    Hi Guys

    I recently bought an Acer TravelMate 6464WLMi and have a question w.r.t the display...

    The bottom of the display is slightly darker than the rest of it, only about 5mm of it though...sorta like a 5mm thick line from one corner to the next, only very slightly darker though... is this normal?

    Also, the bottom right corner seems a bit darker than the rest of the display?

    Is this normal on notebook LCD displays? (it's a matte display, not gloss)

    One last thing... are there any utils I can use to test the display? I'm about to go on an overseas trip for a couple of months, and don't want to run into any problems while away.
