I have had my laptop for about 3 years now. It is an Acer TravelMate 2420. About 2 months ago I started to notice a crack forming on the back of the monitor by the left hinge. I was wondering if there is a way to stop the crack from getting bigger without sending it somewhere to get fixed.

    Crack!!! Who has crack!??

Oh, umm. Use super glue. If you are getting 3 years out of an Acer, you my friend should be counting your blessings.

Super Glue doesn't work because I have already tried that. But thank you surfasb. I think I might try the epoxy product. Thank you Tinderbox (UK).

    Thank You, Kristin

    Hi.

If you have already tried superglue, you might have contaminated the surface and you might have problems getting anything to work now.

    Regards

    John.
