I have an Acer Aspire 5672 WLMi - I have had my laptop on alot since i have had it, only shutting it down a few times over about a week (also downloading programs and software...) - and memory on the C drive is almost full. The first problem was the sound didnt work on music or movies. I tried restarting it and when it reasched the start up screen it made a very loud noise - sounds like its coming from the left side (like microphones makes sometimes - very high noise). I shut it down and it wouldnt stop until i removed the battery. When i tried starting it again it said there was an error or a problem with one of the discs/drives. FAT32 error - i think the drive was 320D - 180E (not sure if it was drive or something else). It went through with no problem but when it reached the start up screen it made the noise again, which only stopped when i took out the battery. I have now removed the battery and am waiting a while before starting again. Does anyone know what is wrong with it or have the same problem, and do you know if it is alright to use it with the noise because i want to try and remove some of the programs.

This guy that's renting our house had that problem when there was a power blackout. It's something 2 do with the adapter or some power thing. When the power suddeoly came bac on, a mass amount of current flowed through the PC and it short circuited it. Well that's wat happened 2 the guy renting our house, don't no bout u.

    Hope I could help, Daniel

Also it is only the speakers that are messed up i think. I turned the volume down - off - and the sound has gone, but when the volume is up it sounds a bit like an echo/hollow. I am deleting lots of stuff and am saving everything onto cds and i think it is gone - will need to restart and see later.
