    Laptop wont power up

    my daughter has a 4830TG was new in Jan/12 there is no power indication with or without the adapter fitted. The adapter is working and has voltage at the plug. Anyone have a simple solution, Maybe a dud battery?

    Remove the battery and try to power it on.

    If that doesn't work, check the power plug on the laptop's motherboard or the power button connection.
