    Hi, guys

I have an Aspire 6935g and a friend has an Aspire 8935g.
Both are running Windows 7 x64.

Our Launch Managers look like this:

    Launch2.jpg

No option for managing WiFi or Bluetooth at boot.

Can anyone suggest how to get these options in Launch Manager, please?
    Such as example below:

Hi, thundernet, and thanks for replying.

    The following is installed:
For the 6935g = Dritek Launch Manager 3.0.02 (from Win7 x64 Ultimate download page)
For the 8935g = Dritek Launch Manager 3.0.04 (from Win7 x64 Ultimate download page)

The Launch Manager is the only Acer branded software installed.
For some unknown reason I don't have access to the boot device settings.

    Hi,

is the laptop equipped with special keys or switches for turning on/off these components? If so, then an entry in Launch manager is not needed IMO.

    Hi, Michael_recycled

Yes, the keys/buttons are there for both laptops.

I agree that we can use the keys, but it would be nice to have the choice as to what starts up at boot.

I was under the impression that this was possible with the two models in question.

Well, since the example-screenshot with boot options has been made by me I feel compelled to answer your question although you may not find it helpful.
The screenshot was made on Aspire 5020 running Windows Vista 32bit with Launch Manager 1.1.1.5.2- later versions of Launch Manager don't have this option I'm afraid and the old ones may not install on your computer. You may try it anyway if you want.

I'm afraid I can't. It is my old laptop that we're talking about and I don't use it anymore. I'll see if it's in running order- wherever it is now- and check back if it does but I wouldn't count on it.

    Hi,
On my 1810, the state of WLAN, 3G and Bluetooth are stored in the registry (user specific). So I can log on as user "A" with 3G and BT on and WLAN off and as user "B" with different settings.
But I have to admit, that my 1810 may behave totally different than your laptop.

    Hi, downloads

Thanks for the screenshot! I knew that it was for an Aspire 5XXX.

In a thread (by Danika, I think), reviewing the 6935g, some had mentioned being able to set the boot options for wifi and bluetooth.

It was said that you needed the Launch Manager, Empowering Technology and maybe Power management software from Acer.

There was nothing conclusive on that thread, so I thought I'd ask the community.
It is disappointing to learn that the later Launch Managers don't include the option. Why hamstring the functionality of such well-specced machines?

lloco73, I've attached the registry entry for LManager
    It was located at HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Inventec\
