This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just had to post to thank the guys (Purenight & imachine) in an older closed thread.

    I'm working on my grandfather's Acer Aspire 9300 running Vista Home Premium w/sp2. His DVD drive wasn't working for some DVD's (like a Windows 7 Pro install DVD burnt from an ISO). He had firmware version GRS6, we upgraded to the GS08fix version, and it's working. So we're updating to GS09 now.
