    Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday I bought the AS5552 on a phenominal deal. I was hoping to find more information on reviews, and other people's experiences with the laptop.

Perhaps it's a new model, or unique to my region but I haven't been able to find much of anything.

In any case, I picked up the following for a mere 449 (with tax) in Canadian dollars. It was priced at 399.

    AS5552-5686

AMD Phenom II N830 2.1ghz (Tri Core)
    4GB DDR3 SDRAM
    640gb HDD
    Acer InviLink Nplify 802.11b/g/n
    ATI Radeon HD 4250 (shared)
    8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive

Still getting my own initial impressions, but does anyone have any experiences with this one?

Its your basic config that can do video/office tasks and very light gaming, battery life will be a 2-3 hours.

Is there a forum or lounge for people with this laptop? It would be nice to be able to chat with like-minded people. :D

Where I live some other family members to this model have showed up, one with a N950 processor and a 7552 with a 6550 gpu.

I have a 5553G, which is also pretty much alike yours though mine has a better gpu. There's also the 5551 series.

If you're looking for people with the same or sort of, make a lounge yourself or search for 5551/5552/5553/7551/7552/7553 topics.
