This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     OK NBR-Acer: I've been good to you, it's time to come through for me.
    Does anyone have firmware version 1.B6 for the Optiarc BC-5500A BD-ROM drive?
    I'm stuck on 1.B4, and it's clearly not capable of playing Toy Story 3.

    Already contacted Acer - they claim they don't have the firmware upgrade.
    Now I've told them to get in touch with Optiarc to GET IT.
    I don't want to have to spend time to press the issue, but that looks like the case.
