    ... possibly an Acer, to use for .NET development (Memory, multiple applications open.. etc) as well as use to play something like Battlefield II at a medium to high detail level.

    Looking at the Acer Aspire 5024WLMi (With the AMD 1.8 processor and a gig of RAM (Anyone find the best deal online?)).

    I see it has a 6 in 1 card reader - but does it handle CompactFlash?

    Best price I see is £899. Can anyone recommend this machine for my use, or else, recommend something else?
