See the previous post about the low sound on my brand new Aspire 9410-4441. In that it doesn't appear there will be a solution to my problem, is anyone aware of an "amplified" set of headphones that will overcome the lack of volume when playing a dvd...I'd prefer something that has a small footprint to conserve on space. Thanks.

make sure all your volumes are set as high as they can go.
- the one in Windows media player/other player
- your computer sound meter
good luck.
ear buds can usually get a lot of sound to your ear. -
I REALLY love my noise reducing Shure E2C headphones, they definitely help.
On this note, DVD's in general ALWAYS seem to have low volume, but I've noticed it's not limited to PC volume, seems to be something in DVD's, because whenever I use my PS2 to play a DVD I have to turn the volume WAY up on the TV to hear it properly.
