Today i turned on my 8930g from hibernation, ran an hour or so fine. Then all of a sudden the screen kept alternating between dimming and going bright like it was switching power modes by itself. So i shut it off. When I turned it back on it stopped that, but I noticed it was now running only on battery it showed on the power icon, it doesn't say plugged in. Even when I unplugged and plugged the AC cord its still running on battery, and the battery is decreasing because it is not charging. I turned off everything for a while, unplugged and removed the battery, restarted. Same thing it is only running on battery. I dunno if my AC cord is bad in some way or something internally which I hope not. I have only had this laptop for about 8 months. Anyone have similar problems or any ideas to troubleshoot? The AC adapter box shows a green light on it so I'm assuming it is still getting power and the cord is ok?.... :(
