I've had 2 sticks of DDR3 1333Mhz 2GB Ram in this laptop before.

But what about 2 sticks of DDR3 1333Mhz 4GB Ram?

I've looked around and some people said that this computer only supports 4GB of 1066Mhz (PC3 8500).

    Currently I have 2 sticks of 4GB 1066Mhz (PC3 8500) but I would like to swap them with some 4GB of 1333Mhz (PC3 10600).

Anyone know if it's possible? It says here that I can take 8GB (duh I'm using it): http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/notebook/2010/Acer/Aspire/Aspire5742G/Aspire5742Gsp2.shtml

But it doesn't say what the max speed is.

If you have 2x4GB DDR3-1067 already, why would you want 2x4GB DDR3-1333? You're just wasting money since you will see no real life performance benefit from it (unless you game on an integrated GPU), especially since you don't even know if you can take advantage of it.

I thought all GPUs in laptops are integrated? You're telling me there's no performance benefit between 1066 and 1333? Why do we have 2 different types then... if there is no benefit?

Integrated as in integrated in the chipset or CPU as opposed to discrete.
