I'm in the market for an external LCD and am deliberating between 22" and 24" but I can't seem to find documentation on the max resolution for this x1600. The manual states "up to 2048x1536 via non-interlaced CRT"... does this apply to LCDs too?

The 22" are generally 1680x1050 while 24" are 1900x1200. I'm guessing that 22" would be a better bet anyway since running games at 1900x1200 would be too taxing for this chip. What are other people using with this notebook?

I've run the 5672 @ 1600x1200 but not higher (due to the monitor). I assume you can run it higher :) Let me know how it goes
