I was wondering if it is possible to manually assign the remote keyboard keys with MediaTouch.

I have a Acer Aspire 5920 notebook with multiple keys at the right hand of the keyboard. These keys are automatically assigned to the notebook's media centre. I'd rather assign those keys to Foobar (music program which I prefer to use). I've checked out the options and properties provided by the Synaptics Driver but the only thing you can manage about the keys is whether they light up and make sound when used.

Does anybody know a way to assign the keys?

Hi, I have reconfigured all the media buttons on the right to what I want. 1st go to http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=218872&highlight=synaptics+lux+driver
Download the Luxpad driver. Make sure you uninstall the old synaptics driver before you install the new one. Once installed and rebooted, you can change a variety of things, including touch sensitivity and illumination as well as reconfiguring what the media buttons do.
    Have fun.

I installed the new driver but the problem I'm still experiencing is this:

Some other programs are being automatically set as default instead of the one I prefer using. I already checked the settings and set my preferred music player as default media center but when I use the media buttons one of the other programs get started.

I also noticed that the saved settings were gone after restart. I know this problem was already known with the Vista 64 bit version but I have the 32 bit version. Just thought you should know.
