I've finally settled on the TimelineX 4820TG with the i5 processor, 500GB HD, 1GB 5650, etc. It looks like Microcenter is the only place with the 4820TG in stock. I've never had dealings with Microcenter, so I don't really know what to expect. Anyone purchase from their online shop? Suggest them or wait for another retailer to get them back in stock? I should have hopped on the Newegg deal the other day, even though it was just the 320GB HD, I plan on upgrading to a 7200RPM drive anyway.

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

The problem with Micro Center is that there is only a 7-day return/exchange policy for laptops. Also, there is a 15% open box return fee for items that are returned/exchanged (this does not include defective items or exchanging for an identical item).

Most people would buy the laptop if they live near a Micro Center than going through the whole shipping process. However, I am not familiar with Micro Center's shipping policy, so you will have to ask someone else about that.

Thanks for the reply aylafan. Looking through their resellerratings.com ratings, they are WAY below average for customer service. I'm thinking of holding off until Newegg gets them back in stock, or at the least Amazon.com.

I just don't see another alternative. The B&M store is around 2 hrs away from me, so just going to pick it up at the store isn't really an option. It's highly doubtful that they'd have it in stock.
