I have an Aspire 7530 and I connected an external microphone to it for recording. I then had an echo on the recording as the mic on the laptop for the webcam was also picking up the voice so I disabled the laptop mic. I now do not know how to get the mic on the laptop back, any ideas please?

Hi daveat22, and welcome to the forums!

To get your microphone enabled again, right-click on the Volume icon in your taskbar, and pick Recording devices. If the Microphone isn't showing up in the window that opens, right click in the blank area and tick Show disabled devices. Then, when the microphone shows up, right-click on it to enable it.
