Alright, so I bought my Acer for school sometime back in early August, and lately (for the past few weeks) every time I try to start up Microsoft Word it pops up with a request for the "installation package" and a file called pro.msi, I suppose this is the word pro thing, and I can still get into word but it does it EVERY TIME I open a file, and is of course extremely frustrating, I was just wondering what could cause this, and what I could do to remedy it, since Acer nicely enough does not include a system disk with this 1,600 dollar system.

(it's a 4670, I don't think the specs matter, but if they do I'll post 'em)

Looks like the file might be corrupt/damaged or the Office isnt properly recognising it. Try any of the suggestions listed below and hope it works. Otherwise just reinstall your copy of Office, assuming you have the installation discs.
