    Minor problem with a driver

    Whats up guys, i have the 5672 with the x1600, ive done so muc reading on this forum, i learned alot of stuff about this laptop. ive also learned that if u cannot find and answer your looking for that there is probably somebody who can help you.
    The issue im having is whenever i boot up my lappy, i always get a unknown device or something, i had 2 that always came up but i remember reading in another thread that one of them is probably the CIR Infared driver which it was. i was hoping somebody can help me with this. Ive attached a screenshot of my device manager to show you what i mean.

    Anybody know how to fix this? i dont know which driver im missing

    That could be one of a few things, you might want to look into these drivers:

    MultiMedia Card Reader drivers (if you have an SD card slot or similar)
    SATA drivers for your notebook HD (if your notebook is that new)
    Drivers for an external storage device (if you have one)

    Also, try running Windows Update with that driver showing. The update might pull in a driver; just make sure you do a Custom update and check through all the software and hardware options.
