I finished installing Vista yesterday. Although Vista comes with its own pre-installed drivers for X1400 but I tried downloading catalyst 7.1 from ATI.

The installation gives me an error and says no compatible hardware found. Then I though of installing Omega 3.8.33 (Catalyst 7.1) drivers but I am not sure if they are stable and compatible on windows vista.

Acer does not have any information for any drivers for Vista.

I have an Acer Aspire 5672 [email protected] with ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 and 2gb RAM.

    Please help.

I have the same lappy and am considering upgrading in the future, but I use it for IT work and do not want to have to relearn (at this point) where everything is at. I would be curious too though which drivers are best for Vista. Actually, I'd like to get a consensus of which drivers are best for XP too.
