Hi, ive been having some problems with my acer timeline 3810t. The only thing stopping me from sending it for a warranty repair is that im a full time college student, and I heavly rely on this laptop for everything. After failing on google, I was hoping someone here could help me find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My led backlight doesn’t seem to work anymore (currently using an external monitor) The monitor itself works since im able to see everything if i shine a bright light on it. If I push at this one spot between the battery and the monitor, the backlight will light up again, but once I stop pushing, it goes back off. (wiring problems?)

Ive tried going into the power options and setting it so that the minitor never dims, but it hasnt worked.

    Any ideas?

I hate to say this, but it really sounds like a connector problem not giving power. I am not too familiar with the internal hardware of LCD modules so I hope someone can post something thats worth more than mine!
