I have an old Dell Latitude D630. I'd like to hook a larger Acer monitor to it.
Can anyone tell me if this laptop is capable of doing that. Thanks for any help.

Probably yes although it would help to know what exactly monitor is it?

It may not be the best sub-forum to ask that but I'll leave it here.

Sorry, not a computer guy so didn't know where to post. Chose the Acer forum because the monitor I like is an Acer.

    Anyway, the monitor is a 23", model S231HL Wide 1920 x 1080 LED.

    Appreciate any help.

This particular Acer will work with any notebook as it has DVI, HDMI and VGA input jacks.
Your notebook however does support only VGA- it would be better to have a digital connection but it will work nonetheless.
Your GPU which is integrated Intel X3100 supports Full HD resolution too so it's fine.

Yeah. That's all you have to do.
