Okay, now my 6 month old TravelMate 8204 is really making awful noises. It'll start up fine, and usually around the time the desktop is loaded, the fan will kick in and make this horribly loud annoying buzzing. Right now though it didn't do it, I let the computer cool off for about 30 minutes. If it does it one more time I am going to have to send it to Acer.... but I really don't want to lose my laptop even for a few days. Is there anyone who experienced this loud buzzing and has a fix or something? Any advice at all?
EDIT - I tried turning it upside down and sideways and all ways when it started this awful noise, and it stopped... and then I set it back down and it started again. So I tired just moving it around to different positions and now it's back to quiet normal. What could this signifiy? A broken motor or a jam or what?
Please!
Thanks in advance.

go take it back to acer, it's under warranty. we've covered this previously in your other post just a few threads down.

It is most likely the bearing going on your fan, get it sent in a.s.a.p before it STOPS working and your pc overheats and melts into a single peice of plastic.

Kind of crappy for a 2000 dollar laptop -

This is frustrating...
What would cause it to start working again? Holy crap, for about 6 hours now the problem is pretty much gone... there is a little buzzing, but no serious problems. I think I'll still send it in, but it's weird that it just magically stopped.
