What do you already have? General upgrades:

    - Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9500
    - 4 GB 1 GHz DDR2 RAM
    - 500 GB 5,400 RPM hard drive
    - nVidia GeForce 9600m GT
    - Intel Wifi Link 5 series card

Fred, the 8920G has an MXM-III slot. Which means theoretically even an 8800M GTX is compatible, provided the BIOS is compatible.
And I'm not sure if the Wifi Link 5x00 cards are compatible with the 965 chipset...

That being said, it truly depends on what you have, what your budget it, and where your bottleneck is.

OMG, so an 8920G can take a 9800m GTX?

Note I said theoretically. The form factor compatibility is there, but if the thing requires too much current and outputs too much heat, it's a no-go.
And there's also the stubbornness of Acer notebooks to accept a non-Acer VBIOS. And since there isn't a model being sold with anything faster than a 9700M GT out there, I'd say it's unlikely.

The best plausible choice would be the 9700M GT that shows up in certain 8930G models.

Best bang for your buck is to max your ram and get a 7200rpm hdd

    Thanks

I have a 1.8ghz processor right now, so I think that will be my first upgrade, after some looking I am thinking the t9300 or t9600.

I already have added 2gb of ram to max out at 4gb.
How had is the WIFI card upgrade??

Also is it possible to add bluetooth and a tv tuner to a model that didn't come from the factory with them. I see the location for the tv tuner card, just not sure about the wire routing etc?
