    what the difference is ?

    I have a 5720 Aspire and looking for a new motherboard, the part number I have is MBAHE02001 which is for a 5320,5320G, 5720 & 5720G

    When searching online for a replacement/refurbished board I find this;
    MBAKM02001 again this is for the same as above 5320,5320G, 5720 & 5720G.

    The boards look identical and have exactly the same detailed spec on processor slots, Graphics , memory, Intel chipsets etc.

    Could I use the 2nd one instead of my actual motherboard number?

    Can someone please help me on this?
    thanks
    Chris

    MBAHE02001 uses a GM965 chipset, where MBAKM02001 uses a GL960 chipset.

    both will work in a 5720, but it may be best to just order the original one so you don't run into any issues.
