The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Mouse blinking problem

    I have just started having this problem. I have an acer 4810T with windows vista and I'm using mozila firefox. This only happens with this browser, the mouse is just fine with other programs, the desktop etc. I googled it but couldn't find any solution. When i'm not moving it it disappears, and then when i do move it it blinks frequently-very annoying!!!

    The only difference between yesterday and today is that I installed Avira Antivir Personal. But I don't think that would create such a problem??

    ETA: The mouse is back to normal and I havent changed a thing. No idea why it happened, no idea if it will happen again!
