    I have a aspire6920 here's the specs
    core2duo @2.2ghz
    4gb DDR2 RAM
    Nvdia 9500GS

Right now the system has Vista4bit on it. I just recently recieved my free windows 7 upgrade disk from ACER. The problem i have is my current OS is Winvista 64bit. ACER screwed up and sent me Windows7 upgrade disk but it's only the 32bit version. My question is can Windows7 32bit SEE and UTILIZE my 4gb of RAM ? I've seen mixed reviews online about people being able to see and utilize all 4gb of ram using win7 32bit. I dont want to upgrade to win7 unless i can use all my RAM. Does anybody have experience with this? I know since ACER customer service sucks donkey b***s they wont send me the correct win7 64bit disks. Any input on this situation is greatly appreciated. And yes i've used the search button and havent found any info on this problem on my 6920 specifically. Thanks again in advance.

Windows 7 32-bit will tell you that you have 4GB installed, but will use less. Something like "4GB Installed (3.25GB Usable)" or to that effect. That is a limitation of all 32-bit operating systems, unfortunately.
Go shout at Acer to send you the 64-bit disc, or use the key supplied with the upgrade disc with a retail 64-bit disc image from your favourite less-than-legal torrent site. License keys work on both 32- and 64-bit versions of the same Windows 7 edition.
