i own Aspire 1802WSMi, and now it can't boot up. all the fan, power, and other lights still normal. but it displayed nothing on the screen. but sometimes, it can boot and work just like usual. i sent it to the Acer Service Care, and they told me to replace the mainboard to solve this problem. the biggest problem is that mainboard cost almost 550U$D, and if i replace it, will it solve the problem? can some of you explain why my mainboard got damaged? cause i rarely use this notebook, only 20hours/week. i'm really dissapointed with Acer notebook. pls help, sory if i have a bad english, i came from Indonesia.
