    Hi folks!

I just got an Aspire 6935g today. The model is full HD but I could not change the resolution to 1920x1080. Does anybody knows how can I do it?

Another think my model came with C2D P7350 (2ghz). All the the 6935G that I've seen comes with 2.26ghz. Isn't not strange?

    Cheers...

your screen might not actually be 1920x1080, which would explain why you can't scale to that resolution.

Really strange, because I checked around the internet and even the acer's site shows this model with 1080p and also I have a sticker on the laptop with 1080P.
    Could be any driver problem?

I spent €250 more to get a model with 1080P. Because I went in a Sony store and I was decided to get the a Vaio FW21E for €999 but besides to have the sticker 1080p I also couldn't change the resolution for 1920x1080. And then the same problem with this one now.

I'll probably come back to the store get my money back I'll get the Vaio one. Do you guys think that the HD3470 can run Sims 2 in a decent configuration? (my girfriend wants a laptop that she can play this game).

1080p on those means that you can output that res via HDMI AFAIK...

    Acer or Sony?

Because in the acer website shows 1920x1080.

Which website ? I think it must be talking about the NVIDIA pure video decoder 1080p rendering.

Weird if click in this link http://www.acer.com/gemstoneblue/uk/ and then specifications you'll see in Display 1920x1080.
Anyway I'll change this one. Blue Ray with this resolution doesn't make sense at all.

Acer is really awful in stating this resolution thing. I wonder how many people have had this same scam-like problem when buying 69xx or 89xx laptop.
