As of yesterday, there's now a small air gap at the top left corner of the screen.

The bad news is that it's now out of warranty. That said, does Acer do out of warranty repairs?

The good news is that I paid for this by credit card and it's still under the CC's extended warranty. Assuming that Acer doesn't do out of warranty repairs, I'd need to get a quote from some kind of repair service*. Unfortunately, as someone who diagnoses my own computer problems, I have no idea where to even start looking...

    * It doesn't necessarily have to be a high quality, reputable repair service. In fact, the best thing that could happen is if someone like Geek Squad is willing to put "nope, the screen can't be repaired but I can sell you this brand new system instead..." down in writing. That way, I get reimbursed for the full price of the W700 and I can upgrade to a brand new tablet for free
